DANBI-MATURE-MUMTAS-TAJ MAHAL
Today I decided to return the search for beautiful places in the sl. After four years here I still enchant this local Virtual World Inhabited by Real People. Taja Mahal, speak a little to you this story:
The Taj Mahal (Hindi ताज महल, Persian تاج محل) is a mausoleum located in Agra, a city of India and best known [1] of the monuments in the country. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was recently announced as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a celebration in Lisbon on July 7, 2007.
The work was done between 1632 and 1653 [2] with a force of about 20,000 men, [3] brought several Eastern cities to work in sumptuous white marble monument to Emperor Shah Jahan had it built in memory of his favorite wife, Aryumand Banu Begam, whom he called Mumtaz Mahal ("the jewel of the Palace"). She died after giving birth to their 14th child, and the Taj Mahal was built over his grave by the river Yamuna.
Thus, the Taj Mahal is also known as the greatest proof of love in the world, with inscriptions taken from the Koran. It is inlaid with semiprecious stones such as lapis lazuli and others. Its dome is sewn with gold thread. The building is flanked by two mosques and surrounded by four minarets.
It is assumed that the Emperor wished to make himself a replica of the original Taj Mahal on the other side of the river, in black marble, but was deposed before the start of work by one of his sons.
